I’m Cassandra, a Film Editor, Producer and Story Consultant. I have a passion for visual storytelling and love a good story! I have carved a successful career in London, Sydney and New York and currently base myself in London but with the world now open to remote working, I am available for projects anywhere.

 My university background in Film, Media Arts and Production coupled with over fifteen years’ experience in the global film and television industry has provided me with a focused set of technical and creative skills. My experience includes extensive work editing long form broadcast television as well as short form and online and with several high-end corporate clients. This includes working on a wide range of genres including documentary, factual entertainment, reality TV, news, current affairs, comedy, lifestyle, children's television and music videos. You can see my work on the BBC, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, National Geographic, PBS, Discovery Channels, Channel 5, MTV, Nickelodeon and Vice as well as top Australian networks the ABC, SBS, Channel Ten, Channel 7 and Channel 9. I have also completed work for leading brands AOL, Huffington Post, Red Bull, Harley Davidson, Durex, Cadburys, the City of Sydney and Alzheimer’s Australia. This extensive experience has provided me with an adaptable and effective approach to any project I undertake. I am a member of the honorary society of professional British Film and Television Editors (BFE) and a voting member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).

 Through my production company Darling Projections, I produce, edit and script consult on feature documentaries. THE PICK UP GAME premiered at leading documentary festival Hot Docs in 2019 and then went on to screen at DocNYC and the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival where it won best director. SOLDIERS WITHOUT GUNS played in cinemas across New Zealand and Australia and MARCH FOR DIGNITY was accepted into over 20 festivals and screened in cinemas across Europe.

 Every project I work on teaches me something new. This satisfies my curious mind and it’s this reason that I love making films. I am always on the lookout for opportunities to work with other professionals and this has led me to a varied career spanning a range of subjects and formats. I think this reinforces my ability to throw myself into and succeed at any genre or duration. I am a creative and resourceful storyteller with a confident sense of narrative, emotion and rhythm. I pride myself on my strong editorial skills and can help you mould your story and craft your film into something emotive yet entertaining.
